The Yankov Gap (English; Bulgarian Янкова седловина Jankowa sedlowina ) is a flattened, icy, 575 m high and in north-south orientation 1 km long saddle in the eastern part of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It lies between the Melnik Ridge and the Bowles Ridge and forms part of the watershed between the Kaliakra Glacier in the west and the Struma Glacier in the east. Its center is 2 km east-northeast of Mount Bowles .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the mountain pass in 2004 after Jordan Jankow, from 1994 radio technician on the St. Kliment-Ohridski station in several campaigns .
