The North Tyne is a river in Northumberland , England .

The North Tyne is formed from the confluence of the Deadwater Burn , which forms on Deadwater Moor and Deadwater Fell at the foot of this mountain with a series of small unnamed streams on the border with Scotland .

Before the North Tyne flows through Kielder Water , the Kielder Burn meets the river at the Kielder settlement .

The North Tyne flows through Hadrian's Wall between Chollerford and Wall .

North-east of Hexham arises from the confluence of the North Tyne and South Tyne the Tyne .
