Northeast Public Radio (also "WAMC / Northeast Public Radio Network") is a public broadcasting company in the USA. The WAMC Radio Network broadcasts for the seven northeastern states of the United States , including New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut , Vermont , New Jersey, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania . The WAMC Radio Network is based in Albany , New York. The network includes 12 radio stations and 16 relays. The main broadcaster is WAMC Albany.
WAMC is a member of National Public Radio and also carries programs from Public Radio International and American Public Media . The network is financed through voluntary donations by listeners and receives government support, for example from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and the New York State Education Department .
The President and CEO of WAMC is Professor Emeritus University at Albany Alan Chartock. He hosts a weekly political program (Capitol Connection) which is also broadcast on other public radio stations around New York.

NPR's most important programs, the Morning Edition , All Things Considered and Fresh Air are broadcast on WAMC. Own programs are The Roundtable , a news magazine and various music programs . The BBC World Service is broadcast at night .
The program will be produced at WAMC Studios at 318 Central Avenue in Albany.
