The Northtrap Rocks (from the English loosely translated North Falls rocks ) are an isolated group of cliff rocks belonging to the Joinville Island group off the northern tip of the Antarctic Peninsula belong. They are located northwest of Cape Juncal on D'Urville Island .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1963 as the most northerly of the geographic objects dangerous to seafaring that should be avoided when entering the Antarctic Sound in the north .
