The Norwegian Nordic Ski Championship 1940 ( Norwegian Norgesmesterskapet på ski 1940 ) took place in Raufoss . They were held by the local club Raufoss IL and the Norges Ski Association, the Norwegian Ski Association. Championships in cross-country skiing , ski jumping and Nordic combined were held . Only men's competitions were held. For the first time, a relay competition over 4 × 10 km was held in cross-country skiing.
