The Roman Catholic parish church Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption (German Assumption of Mary ) in Aix-en-Othe , a former French parish in the Aube department in the Grand Est region , was opened in the 16./17. Century erected. The church has been classified as a monument historique since 1980 .

history

Today's St-Avit chapel in the middle of the cemetery was the first church to be built in Aix-en-Othe. The new parish church Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption was built between 1580 and 1620 in the town center. The nave and tower were enlarged from 1678 to 1680.
