Nova Ball

Nova Gayle Ball (born May 18, 1958 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actress .

Life

Ball grew up as the daughter of guitar string manufacturer Ernie Ball and began her career in 1978 with a small role in the crime series Kojak - Einsatz in Manhattan . She made her feature film debut in 1982 in the horror film Die Hexe - The Witch . She played a bigger role in 1984 in the television film Summer by director Allan Arkush . She had her second and last role in a feature film in the following year in the Cheech and Chong comedy Now it has smoked up! . Until 1990 she appeared in guest roles in a number of successful television series, including Who's the Boss? , The A-Team and Jake and McCabe - Through thick and thin .

Ball is married for the third time. Between 1987 and 1990 she was married to Alan Campbell . The third marriage to Robin Marks produced their only child, actress Hannah Marks , because of which she gave up her own acting career.
