Allan Arkush
Allan Arkush (born April 30, 1948 in Jersey City , New Jersey ) is an American film and television director who often worked with Joe Dante .
Arkush grew up in Fort Lee , New Jersey. He started out in the film industry in the trailer department and worked for Roger Corman . He later directed the Corman-produced films Hollywood Boulevard , Giants with Steel Fists (Deathsport) and Rock 'n' Roll High School . He also worked on the web series Trailers From Hell . His work includes more than 60 film and television productions.
He received an Emmy in 1999 for his work on The Temptations .
