A kiss with consequences ( Prince Charming ) is an American comedy film of Allan Arkush from the year 2001 .

Prince John is supposed to marry Princess Gwendolyn, which should end the centuries-old war between the two families. On his wedding day, he is caught committing adultery, after which he and his servant Rodney are turned into frogs as punishment. Only a woman's kiss can transform her back.
A few centuries later, in present-day New York City , John is kissed by actress Margo. He and Rodney return to human form. However, they can only keep these if John and Margo get married until the next full moon.
John gets a role in the play Romeo and Juliet to be performed in Central Park . He falls in love with the carriage driver Kate. John and Margo appear in time for the wedding, but John does not marry the actress and reveals his love to Kate. He turns back into a frog, whereupon he is kissed by Kate, which turns him back into a human.
The final scene shows the triple wedding: John marries Kate, Margo marries the manager of the theater company, Rodney marries Serena, a woman employed in the theater.
Reviews
Arthur Lazere wrote on www.culturevulture.net that the film would be screenplayed and directed by a “balance between silliness and romance”. The film is "cute" and "funny".
The lexicon of international films wrote that the comedy was entertaining “solidly” “thanks to the playfulness, good equipment” and “funny ideas”.
