Nuccio Ordine

Nuccio Ordine (born July 18, 1958 in Diamante , Province of Cosenza , Calabria ) is an Italian philosopher and literary scholar .

Ordine has been Professor of Italian Literature at the University of Calabria since 2001 . Previously, he was a fellow of the Harvard University Center for Studies of the Italian Renaissance "Villa I Tatti" and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, as well as visiting scholars at the Center d'Études Supérieures de la Renaissance in Tours and at the Warburg Institute in London. Ordine's field of work is the Italian Renaissance , especially the work of Giordano Bruno , for which he has presented numerous publications that have been translated into several languages.
