Numa Baragnon

Numa Pierre Joseph Baragnon (born October 4, 1797 in Nîmes , † September 23, 1871 ibid) was a French politician. He was a member of the National Assembly from 1854 to 1857 .

Baragnon came from a middle-class family from Nîmes. In 1821 he was admitted to the bar and in 1830 a Batonnier . In the same year he moved into the prefectural council , where he stayed until he entered parliament. In 1844 he became a Knight of the Legion of Honor , eight years later an officer. After he was elected to parliament in 1854, he belonged to the moderate Bonapartists .
