Nutan (born February 27, 2012 ) is an Irish racehorse that was trained by Peter Schiergen in Cologne . Nutan is owned by the Nice stable. In 2015 Nutan won the IDEA 146th German Derby on the racecourse in Hamburg-Horn .
Pedigree
Nutan was drawn by banker Jürgen Imm. Father is the Irish Group Ι winner Duke of Marmalade, mother is Neele.
Races and achievements
Nutan completed his first race on April 19, 2015 at the Cologne racecourse and came second there. Then he started again on May 10, 2015 in the Prize of Holthausen GmbH in Cologne and won this race.
After finishing third in the 180th Oppenheim Union race , he started in the German Derby on July 7, 2015, and won it with Andrasch Starke in the saddle.
In August Nutan started in the Grand Prix of Berlin and took a good third place. A little later he suffered a tendon injury in training that led to the end of his racing career. He was then set up as a stud stallion not far from his greatest triumph in the Hamburg thoroughbred stud Lindenhof and has been available there for a stud fee of € 3,500 since 2016.
