The Nyang Qu , also Nyangchu or Nyangqu ( Tib. ཉང་ ཆུ ། nyang chu, Chinese 尼洋河 , Pinyin Níyáng Hé and others), is a tributary of the Yarlung Zangbo (Brahmaputra) in the southeast of the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China .
It has two source rivers, both originate in the Nyainqêntanglha (Nyenchen Thanglha), after the confluence it flows in a south-easterly direction through the Gongbo'gyamda district and the Bayi district , then southwards and flows into the Yarlung Zangbo (Brahmaputra). It has a length of 286 km and a catchment area of 17,500 square kilometers. Its catchment area is very wooded.
