The O'Shanessy Creek is a creek southwest of Haupiri on New Zealand 's South Island. It rises on the eastern flank of the 1,462 meter high mountain Mount O'Shanessy (a second spring arm on a 1,313 meter high eastern secondary peak), flows in a north-easterly direction and, after it has taken in numerous tributaries, flows after about 7 kilometers in the Haupiri River , which in turn flows into the Ahaura River .
