The O'Shea Peak is a 1,223 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . In the Porthos Range of the Prince Charles Mountains, it rises immediately south of Mount McCarthy .
Aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from 1956 and 1960 were used for mapping. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after John H. O'Shea, a radio operator on Wilkes Station in 1962 and 1964 and on Macquarie Island in 1966.
