ODROID
ODROID stands for Open + Droid and refers to a series of single-board computers from the hardware manufacturer Hardkernel for the development of hardware and software. There are around 15 different types of the ODROID, with the ODROID-XU4, the ODROID-C1 + and the ODROID-C2 currently being manufactured. All current ODROID types have a multi-core processor with ARM architecture with maximum clock rates between 1.5 and 2 GHz . Different distributions of Linux , such as B. Ubuntu or Arch Linux and the Android operating system can be installed. The C1 + model has 1 GB of RAM , the ODROID-XU4, the ODROID-C2 and the ODROID-HC1 have 2 GB of RAM. All models have an HDMI connection (exception: HC1), various USB connections and an integrated network card with RJ45 connection. Some models have controllable GPIOs : the XU4 30 and the C1 + and C2 40 GPIOs. The HC1 is supplied with a heat spreader made of aluminum , which also serves as a stackable housing.
