The OFK Pomorie ( Bulgarian ОФК Поморие from bulg. Общински футболен клуб / Obschtinski futbolen Club) is a Bulgarian professional football club from the city of Pomorie . The club plays in the Bulgarian B Grupa in the 2018/19 season . The current coach is Radoslaw Bojanow .
history
OFK Pomorie was founded in 1924 under the name Rekord . Between 1944 and 1957 his name was Nikolaj Laskow . The name came from a Bulgarian politician who died in Pomorie. The club later changed its name twice to Cherveno sname and FK Pomorie , but had no major success. In 2002 Pomorie made it to the W Grupa . In the 2003/04 season the club won the "little double", namely the Bulgarian Amateur Cup and the W Grupa Southeast. Until 2006, the club played in the B Grupa , before relegating to the W Grupa. In 2009 the club managed to return to the B Grupa.
After the affiliation of Naftex Burgas the club was called Chernomorets Pomorie , the new coach was Petar Chubchev . In the 2009/10 season, Pomorie achieved their greatest success so far, when they reached the Bulgarian Cup final against Beroe Stara Sagora . The game was played in the Gradski Stadium (Lovetsch) , but was lost 1-0. Chernomorets Pomorie was after FC Chernomorets Burgas the second B group club that ever reached the Bulgarian Cup final. In the next season 2010/11 Chernomorets Pomorie won the relegation game for the Bulgarian first division. However, since the club did not meet the license conditions, there was no debut in the first division. At the end of the season Chubchev moved to Botew Plovdiv as a coach . The new coach in Pomorie was Nedeltscho Matuschew .
Since September 15, 2012 the association OFK has been called Pomorie.
