O Segredo (Eng .: The Secret ) is a short film by the Portuguese director Edgar Feldman from 2008. The 25-minute documentary was partly made in black and white.
Feldman interviewed António Dias Lourenço , then 94 , who was active in the communist resistance during the Estado Novo . Dias Lourenço talks about his imprisonment in Forte de Peniche and his escape from prison in 1954. Both returned to the place of his imprisonment for the film.
The film was a competition entry at the Doclisboa Festival in 2008 in the national short films category .
