The Oakland City Hall , the City Hall of Oakland, California . After the former seat of the city administration was destroyed in the San Francisco earthquake of 1906 , the Oakland City Hall in Downtown Oakland was built in the style of Beaux Arts architecture by the architectural firm Palmer & Hornbostel from 1910 to 1914 . With a height of 97 m and 18 floors above ground, it was the first government building to be built in multi-storey buildings . The white facade is made of granite and terracotta.
On September 15, 1983, she was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
