Oberaichbach is a district of the Niederaichbach community in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut . Until 1971 it formed an independent municipality.

location

Oberaichbach is located on the Aichbach about three kilometers south of Niederaichbach and about just as far northeast of Adlkofen in the Isar-Inn hill country .

history

Like Niederaichbach, Oberaichbach was originally an aristocratic seat. The Frauenhofer and Preysing had individual estates here, the rulership of the village is not verifiable. In the 15th century, the wealthy Munich patricians Ligsalz and in 1497 Georg Lagelberger, keeper of Marquartstein , the Oberaichbach village owners. Then the Tyrolean caretaker and nobleman Oswald Schurf became the new lord of the village. In 1559 he had the village law of Oberaichbach, dated 1521, written off. The noble family of trainers acquired the Hofmark from him .

1625 bought Wolf Ehrenreich von Königsfeld auf Niederaichbach from the trainers the Hofmark Oberaichbach. Thus Oberaichbach was connected to the changing fortunes of the Niederaichbacher Hofmark until the aristocratic rule ended in 1848 with the dissolution of the patrimonial courts . The municipality of Oberaichbach was incorporated as part of the regional reform on April 1, 1971, partly to Niederaichbach and partly to Adlkofen.
