The house Obere Gasse 16 is a half-timbered house in Oberderdingen , a municipality in the district of Karlsruhe ( Baden-Württemberg ), which was built in 1685. The building is a protected monument .

As was customary back then, the floor plan is divided once lengthways and twice across. The upper half-timbered floor and the three attic floors each protrude. The gable roof is covered with beaver tails . The decorative forms of the street gable are particularly numerous in the attics with St. Andrew's crosses over lying diamonds or over circles. On the half-timbered floors we see the corner of the head of the Franconian man with deepened eyes and segments of a circle. All floors have curved braces with noses.

The following inscription can be seen on the middle post of the upper floor: "1685 HANNS ERHART TREFFINGER BARBARA TREFINGERNN"
