The Obere Einersberger Teich in the Harz is a dam near Clausthal-Zellerfeld in the Goslar district in Lower Saxony . It is one of the Upper Harz ponds that were created for Montanz purposes.
The 4 ha large and listed lake is located about 1 km west of the Zellerfeld district in the middle of the forest below the Einersberg and is fed by several small tributaries. The pond was probably created around 1622. It can only be reached via hiking trails.
The Hammerstein spring is located about 200 m to the northwest. 100 m down the valley lies the considerably smaller Mittlere Einersberger Teich with 0.8 ha . Only remnants are left of the Lower Einersberger Pond that adjoins the valley below.
The Upper One Teich is from the community of interest resin waters and the fishing club Seesen as Angel used waters. Trout, perch, carp and tench can be found in the lake. Boat fishing is not allowed. The lake is a protected biotope, but it is possible to swim in a place on the northern bank.
