Obermühle (Rogzow)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Obermühle is a former residential area ( desert ) on the Kösliner Mühlenbach in Hinterpommern . The desert is now in the urban area of Koszalin (Köslin) in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland .

In Ludwig Wilhelm Brüggemann's detailed description of the current state of the Royal Prussian Duchy of Western and Western Pomerania (1784), the "Upper Water Mill in Rogzow" is listed as an accessory of the Köslin Office . The mill had two unterschlägige millstones . Forced meal guests who were obliged to have their meal there were the inhabitants of all villages of the office Köslin as well as the inhabitants of the non-office village Bonin .

Around 1867 the Obermühle still had two undershot grindings. Up until 1945, Obermühle formed a place to live in the rural community of Rogzow and belonged to the Köslin district of the Prussian province of Pomerania . After the Second World War, Obermühle, like all areas east of the Oder-Neisse border , came to Poland. The residential area is now desolate , the area belongs to the city of Koszalin.
