Wilhelm Steinhauer

Wilhelm Steinhauer (born June 22, 1842 in Obermühle near Köslin , † June 1, 1906 in Pölitz ) was a farmer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Steinhauer attended the community school in Köslin and devoted himself to agriculture. At the age of 18 he joined the 2nd Guard Uhlan Regiment as a 3-year-old volunteer and was drafted into the wars of 1866 and 1870 . In 1868 he took over the Obermühle farm as an independent farmer. He was also a co-founder of the Northeast Farmers' Association and 1st chairman of the same.

From 1898 to 1903 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Köslin 2 ( Bütow , Rummelsburg , Schlawe ) and the Liberal Association .
