Oberpfraundorf (until 1933 Pfraundorf ) is a parish village in the market town of Beratzhausen in the district of Regensburg in Bavaria . Until 1978, Oberpfraundorf was the seat of the municipality of the same name .

history

The Catholic parish and former castle church of St. Martin dates from the third quarter of the 12th century. Oberpfraundorf was part of the Ehrenfels rulership , which was incorporated into the Principality of Pfalz-Neuburg in 1568 . In 1777 the place became Bavarian . The municipality of Oberpfraundorf came into being with the Bavarian municipal edict of 1818. It comprised the places Oberpfraundorf, Grünschlag, Schrotzhofen and Unterpfraundorf. On January 1, 1978, the municipalities of Oberpfraundorf and Schwarzenthonhausen were incorporated into Beratzhausen as part of the municipal reform.
