Oberwiesenbach is a district of the municipality of Wiesenbach in the Swabian district of Günzburg . The church village is located in a western side valley of the Günz am Schwarzbach .
history
Oberwiesenbach has belonged to the Roggenburg Monastery since 1447 .
On May 1, 1978, the previously independent communities Oberegg and Oberwiesenbach were incorporated into the community Unterwiesenbach .
On October 31, 1978, the name of the community Unterwiesenbach was officially changed to Wiesenbach .
