The Obitel Peninsula ( Bulgarian полуостров Обител poluostrow Obitel ) is a largely icy, 6.9 km long and 6.6 km wide peninsula in the northwest of the Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It separates the Hamburg harbor from the Perrier Bay . In the west it ends in Bonnier Point , in the north in Giard Point ,
British scientists mapped it in 1980. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2013 after the town of Obitel in northeastern Bulgaria .
