The Oblong Lake (from English oblong , rectangular, elongated ' ) is a high saline salt water lake on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . In the Vestfold Mountains it is 1 km southeast of Lebed Lake in a small depression .
The lake is one of a series of lakes that scientists from the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions explored from Davis Station in 1974 .
