The Ochsentaler Glacier is a glacier at the northern foot of the Great and Small Piz Buin (in German: "Ochsenspitze"), the highest mountain in Vorarlberg . From the Bielerhöhe you can already see it from the end of the Silvretta lake in the ox valley of the same name .
The Wiesbadener Hut is now far from its glacier tongue . It is bounded to the east by the Wiesbadner Grätle and to the west by the Signalhorn . In the meantime, it has melted a lot and is still used as the traditional way to climb Piz Buin, although it should only be walked safely because of its many crevices.
The Ochsental Glacier is considered to be the origin of the Ill .
