Octave Feuillet
Octave Feuillet (born August 10, 1821 in Saint-Lô , † December 28, 1890 in Paris ) was a French writer.
Life
He wrote both novels and dramatic plays . In 1845 he had his first success with the play Un bourgeois de Rome (a citizen of Rome). In 1855, his play Péril en la demeure (danger in arrears) at the Comédie-Française before Napoleon III. and his family played. In 1862 he was elected to the Académie française and in 1868 appointed librarian at Fontainebleau Castle.
