Octol is an unincorporated area in Tulare County in the US state of California . It is located at the intersection of Octol Avenue (also: Avenue 184) with I Street and a parallel line of the former Southern Pacific Railroad , directly west of Exit 81 of California State Route 99 , in a partly agricultural and partly commercial area .
In an earlier source, Octol is also referred to as "village".
Octol falls within the Tulare-Buena Vista Lakes basin district (USGS Cataloging Unit: 18030012).
