Odd Sagør
Odd Georg Sagør (born July 2, 1918 in Meldal ; † June 24, 1993 ) was a Norwegian politician of the Arbeiderpartiet (Ap). From October 1973 to January 1976 he was the consumer and administration minister of his country.
Life
Sagør started working for the insurance company Norges Brannkasse in 1936 . In 1946 he was promoted to district inspector, from 1969 to 1970 he was department head for the province of Møre og Romsdal .
Between 1945 and 1970 Sagør was a member of Trondheim City Council . He was the deputy mayor from 1959 to 1963 and then the city's first mayor until 1970. In the period from 1963 to 1970 he was also a member of the Fylkesting in what was then the province of Sør-Trøndelag . From 1970 to 1973 he was the so-called Finansrådmann of Trondheim, so he was responsible for the city's finances. On October 16, 1973, he was appointed Minister of Consumption and Administration in the newly formed Bratteli II government. He held the office until the departure of the government on January 15, 1976. He then returned to Trondheim, where he worked as Rådmann , i.e. head of administration, until 1986 .
