Endre Strømsheim is from Oslo, but lives and trains in Lillehammer and starts for Bærum SSK. He contested his first international races at the 2016 Biathlon Junior World Championships , where he won silver in the sprint and gold in the relay in the youth division. A year later, he made his debut in the IBU Cup in January 2017 , and his best result of the 2016/17 season was an 18th place in Martell's pursuit . At the 2018 Biathlon Junior World Championships , he won the silver medal in the relay race. At the 2019 European Biathlon Championships he won bronze in the individual competition, followed shortly afterwards in the IBU Cup with a victory in the super sprint from Otepää and a second place in the sprint from Martell. The following winter , Strømsheim was part of the Norwegian squad in the IBU Cup from the start, he won three individual races and, together with Karoline Erdal, the single mixed relay in Brezno - Osrblie and at the 2020 European Biathlon Championships in Minsk . In addition to two third places, he mostly achieved top 10 placements in winter and won the overall ranking of the individual and pursuit races. In the overall ranking of the IBU Cup, he finished second, just one point behind the German Lucas Fratzscher .
