Odilon Fages
Odilon Fages OSFS (born October 18, 1875 in La Capelle (Aisne) , † October 14, 1939 in Namakwa ) was Vicar Apostolic of Orange River .
Life
Odilon Fages joined the Order of the Oblates of St. Francis of Sales and was ordained a priest on March 25, 1899 . Pope Leo XIII. appointed him on June 15, 1928 as Apostolic Coadjutor Vicar of Orange River and Titular Bishop of Mulia .
The episcopal ordination took place on September 30 of the same year by the Bishop of Troyes Maurice Feltin ; Co -consecrators were Jules-Alexandre Cusin , coadjutor bishop of Mende , and Emanuel-Anatole-Raphaël Chaptal de Chanteloup , auxiliary bishop in Paris . On November 21, 1932 he succeeded Jean-Marie Simons OSFS as Vicar Apostolic of Orange River after the death .
