PORR Oevermann is a German construction company based in Münster, Westphalia .

Company history

The company was founded in 1907 by Dietrich Oevermann in Münster and was continued in 1933 by his son Josef Oevermann. In 1979 the company was taken over by his son-in-law Manfred Gutsche, who managed it until 2002 and then retired to the advisory board. From 2003 to mid-2007 the company was run by the great-grandchildren of the company founder, Christian Gutsche and Manfred Gutsche jr. directed.

On November 30, 2006, large parts of the company were sold on January 1, 2007 to the Dutch construction group Heijmans NV . The purchase price for the part taken over was estimated at 14.5 million euros.

"Oevermann" was retained as part of the company name (company) in "Heijmans Oevermann GmbH" as well as in three subsidiaries:

  • Oevermann Hochbau GmbH
  • Oevermann Ingenieurbau GmbH
  • Oevermann Verkehrswegebau GmbH.

CMG Gesellschaft für Baulogistik GmbH is the fourth subsidiary of the company. This company was headed from September 2007 to December 2013 by Joachim Segeth and Dirk Krüger. In January 2014, Bart Boleij took over commercial management from Dirk Krüger.

In March 2017, Heijmans announced that it would sell Oevermann to the Porr Group . The takeover was completed on April 21, 2017. The management consists of Gerald von der Gathen and Jan Schwägerl.
