Ofentse Nato (born October 1, 1989 in Ramotswa , South East District ) is a Botswana football player . He prefers to play in the position of a defensive midfielder .

career

NATO began his career at Gaborone United in the Botswana Premier League . With this club he won the championship in 2009. In 2012 he moved to the South African Premier Soccer League for the Johannesburg club Bidvest Wits .

In 2013 he was loaned to Mpumalanga Black Aces . 2014 was loaned to the Indian football club Atlético de Kolkata .

National team

In 2009 Ofentse Nato made his debut in the Botswana national team . At the 2012 African Cup of Nations, he was in the Botswana squad and played in the preliminary rounds against Ghana ( 0: 1 ) and Guinea ( 1: 6 ). In the game against Guinea he was replaced when the score was 1: 2 due to injury.
