geography
Ogliastro Marina is the southernmost district of Castellabate. The Rio dell'Arena torrent separates it from Casa del Conte, a district of Montecorice . Since 1991 the place is part of the National Park Cilento and Vallo di Diano and a member of the Costiera Cilentana .
fauna
In August 2006 a sea turtle laid its eggs on the white beach of Ogliastro (picture). In September the unspecified turtles hatched. This was a rather rare natural event for this area.
