Ognjan Gerdschikow

Ognjan Gerdschikow ( Bulgarian Огнян Герджиков ; born March 19, 1946 in Sofia ) is a Bulgarian lawyer and politician ( NDSW ).

Gerdschikow studied at the University of Sofia . From 2001 to 2005 he was President of the National Assembly . On January 27, 2017, he was appointed interim head of government as the successor to the resigned Boyko Borissov until the planned new elections on March 26, 2017 . Borissov was re-elected Prime Minister of the country on May 4, 2017.
