Ognyan Tetimov

Ognjan Dimitrov Tetimov ( Bulgarian Огнян Димитров Тетимов ; born July 11, 1964 in Sandanski ) is a Bulgarian politician and member of the 41st Bulgarian Parliament .

Life

Ognjan Tetimow graduated from the technical center for mining in Sandanski . As a member of the right-wing extremist Ataka party , he was its district council chairman in the Petrich community and its district council chairman in Blagoevgrad Oblast .

Tetimov takes xenophobic positions. In his opinion, "our country must be defended by the efforts of the DPS to Turkishize it again with all possible means "

On October 14, 2008, Ognyan Tetimov was beaten by four people and forced to sign a declaration. In this he was bodily injury inflicted. It was about 400,000 leva with which voters were bought. In July 2009 Ognyan Tetimov was elected a member of the 41st Narodno Sabranie .

Tetimov is married and has two children.

Ognjan Tetimov is the deputy chairman of the Bulgaria- Venezuela parliamentary group of the Bulgarian National Assembly. He is also a member of the committees for ecology and water (bulg. Комисия по околната среда и водите), as well as agriculture and forestry (bulg. Комисия по земеделието и горите). As a Member of Parliament, he drafted the bills to amend the Radio and Television Act (Bulgarian Закона за радиото и телевизията) and the Law on Obligations and Contracts (Bulgarian Закона за задилжениятеа вордорта).

From September 2 to December 2, 2009, Tetimov was a member of the Enquete Commission, which checked the evidence that the 2009 parliamentary elections were disrupted .

In September 2009, after Tetimov reported to the then Finance Minister Simeon Djankow, the illegal importation of vegetables from the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia was stopped.

On December 21, 2011, Tetimov resigned from the party and the parliamentary faction with three more MPs.
