Oh, Sleeper is an American Christian metal band from Fort Worth , Texas , classified as Metalcore , signed to Solid State Records . The band's name comes from a Bible quote in Ephesians 5:14, which reads "Therefore it says, 'Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."
history
The band was formed with James Erwin, Lucas Starr (also played briefly with As Cities Burn ) and Ryan Conley by three members of the band Terminal , singer Micah Kinard and guitarist Shane Blay (previously played with Evelynn and Between the Buried and Me ) in Founded April 2006. Since then, the band has released three albums and six music videos.
