Solid State Records is an American Christian record label headquartered in Seattle . The label is a sub-label of the Christian record company Tooth & Nail Records . In contrast to Tooth & Nail, Solid State is only characterized by metal bands. Like Tooth & Nail, Solid State is primarily a Christian label.

General

Solid State Records has put its focus on Christian metal . In addition to bands that officially refer to themselves as Christian metal bands, the label also has bands under contract, such as Stretch Arm Strong , He Is Legend or Training For Utopia , some of whose members are converting to Christianity , but not themselves to Christian bands counting.

The head office of the label is in Seattle in the US state Washington .

Solid State Records is a sponsor of various tours and festivals, such as the Ozzfest or the Cornerstone Festival .

One of the greatest successes in the history of the label is the second place on the album Define the Great Line by the band Underoath .
