Haste the Day is a Christian metalcore band from Carmel, Indiana.

Band history

One year after its founding, the band independently released the EP That They May Know You . Two years later followed the debut album Burning Bridges , which was released under the Christian record label Solid State Records .

Another studio album followed in 2004, until singer Jimmy Ryan announced his departure in late November 2005. His last performance was on December 30, 2005 in Indianapolis. The remaining members continued the tour, with the help of Stephen Keech of New Day Awakening , who later became a permanent member of the band. Jimmy Ryan is currently the singer with the math core band Trenches .

In June 2008 the guitarist Jason Barnes had to leave the band because, according to his own statements, he is no longer a believer.

On October 14, 2008, the fourth studio album Dreamer was released . On June 29, 2010 the album "Attack of the Wolf King" was released. On November 23, 2010, the band released the album Concerning the Way It Was . The album contained all of the songs from the band's first three albums.

A little later, the band announced their breakup and announced the tour dates for a Farewell tour with A Plea for Purging and The Chariot through North America.

In 2014, the band reformed and announced on August 15 that they would record a new album from January 2015, on which all previous band members will participate in features.
