Cornerstone Festival

The Cornerstone Festival was a Christian rock music festival held in Illinois around July 4th each year . It was hosted by the Jesus People USA and was a member of the Christian Festival Association .

The first Cornerstone Festivals took place from 1984 to 1990 in Grayslake near Chicago . Since 1991 it has been hosted in Bushnell , McDonough County on Cornerstone Farm, a site that the organizers bought for the festival.

In the end, the festival took place over five days with over 300 bands and more than 10,000 visitors. In addition to many other bands, Zao , POD , Living Sacrifice , Demon Hunter , Savior Machine , Glenn Kaiser and Underoath performed at the Cornerstone Festival .

The festival took place for the last time in 2012.
