Oh Kyong-soo (born March 23, 1987 ) is a South Korean sprinter who specializes in the 100-meter run .

Athletic career

Oh Kyong-soo gained his first international experience at the 2013 Asian Championships in Pune , where he finished fourth in the South Korean 4-ma-100-meter relay in 39.15 s. This qualified the relay for the World Championships in Moscow , where it was eliminated with 39.00 s in the lead. At the beginning of October he was fifth over 100 meters at the East Asian Games in Tianjin and reached fourth place in the relay. The following year he took part for the first time in the Asian Games in his home country Incheon and reached the semi-finals in the 100-meter run, in which he was eliminated with 10.44 s. With the South Korean team, he made it to the final, but was disqualified there. In 2015 he also reached the semi-finals over 100 meters at the Military World Games in Mungyeon and retired from the relay in the first round.

In 2018 he again took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta , retired again with 10.61 s in the semi-finals over 100 meters and finished fifth with the relay in 39.10 s.

In 2018 Oh became the South Korean champion in the 100-meter run.
