Ohlen and Adlerscron or Ohl von Adlerscron or Ohlen and Adlerskron is a Silesian noble family.

history

The sure lineage of the family begins with Friedrich Ohl , 1527 citizen and trader in Breslau. A letter from King Sigismund II August of Poland dated 1548 referred to the Ohlen family as Equites Poloniae ( Polish knights or riders ). The German nobility diploma goes back to the brothers Friedrich, Johann Gottfried and Joachim Ohlen, who were allowed to call themselves "Ohlen von Adlerskron" from March 2, 1672. Friedrich's son, Christian von Ohlen and Adlerskron, was raised to the status of baron on April 3, 1699. The line split in 18/19. Century on the lines of those at Masselwitz and those at Eisdorf.
