Ear spoon
Ear spoons are spoon-like cutlery for cleaning the ears, a type of curette .
In earlier times they were often used as toilet utensils with small tweezers connected to a small ring.
Ear spoons have been proven by finds since the Bronze Age . In Great Britain there are finds from Roman times as well as Anglo-Saxon ear spoons from the 9th century. Ear spoons from the time of the Vikings are known in Scandinavia .
In Dithmarscher Landesmuseum a silver cutlery cylinders with rack hooks and ear spoon from the period are on display at the 1600th
