Oxana Jurjewna Grischina ( Russian Оксана Юрьевна Гришина ; born November 27, 1968 in Tula ) is a former Russian track cyclist .

Life

Oxana Grischina belonged to the world elite of track sprinters for almost 20 years. In 1990 she had her first major international success when she came third in the sprint classic Grand Prix de Paris . In both 1994 and 1997 she finished third at the World Railroad Championships . In 2003, at the World Railroad Championships in Stuttgart , she was third in the Keirin .

Oxana Grischina took part in the Olympic Games twice, in 1996 and in 2000 in Sydney , where she won the silver medal in the sprint. She competed in competitive cycling until 2007 when she finished second in the Keirin at the World Cup races in Manchester .
