Oksana Nikiforova

Oksana Nikiforova ( Russian Оксана Никифорова , scientific transliteration Oksana Nikiforova ; born February 8, 1976 ) is a Russian-German dancer.


Nikiforova comes from Siberia . From 1999 to 2006 she was Franco Formica's dance partner and together with him she was three-time amateur world champion in Latin American dances . The couple won the title in 2002 and defended it in 2003 and 2004. In addition, the Formica / Nikiforowa pair won the German amateur championship in the Latin category between 2000 and 2004 . At that time both were dancers of the Rot-Weiß-Club Gießen . From mid-2006 to mid-2010 Nikiforova danced with Evgenij Voznyuk among the professionals. In 2008 the couple worked with Oliver Wessel-Therhorn on the DVD Latin Principles .

Nikiforova has lived in Germany since 1999 and in Munich since 2013, where she teaches as a trainer at TSC Savoy Munich and at TTC Erlangen .
