Olaf Rademacker

Olaf Rademacker (born September 18, 1963 in Hamburg ) is a German lawyer.

Career

Rademacker finished his school days in Braunschweig with the Abitur in 1983. He then did his community service there at Lebenshilfe. He then studied law at the University of Hamburg from 1983 to 1991. His first professional position was from 1991 to 1997 as head of the social insurance law department in the Marburg legal department of the Federal Association of Lebenshilfe . In 1997 he took up his first judicial position in Schleswig-Holstein. The first positions were at the Itzehoe Social Court and the Lübeck Social Court . From January to December 2001, Rademacker was seconded to the Federal Social Court as a research assistant . Meanwhile, he was appointed a judge for life. The next step in his career followed on September 1, 2003, when he was appointed judge at the Schleswig Regional Social Court . From January 2007 to May 2011 he held the position of presidential judge there. As part of a secondment to the Federal Ministry of Health in 2011, he worked in the section on contract doctor law in the legislative process for the statutory health insurance supply structure law . From January 2012 he worked again as a judge at LSG Schleswig and also IT consultant for Schleswig-Holstein's social justice system. This was followed on August 21, 2013 by BSG President Peter Masuch handing over the certificate of appointment as judge at the Federal Social Court. Rademacker has been pursuing this task in the Sixth Senate since September 1, 2013.

The married father of two children is also involved in commenting on social law and has been a member of the board of the German Social Law Association since 2017 .
