Olaf Reidt

Olaf Reidt (* 1964 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German specialist lawyer for administrative law .

Life

After graduating from the Grillo-Gymnasium, Reidt first studied law and economics at the Ruhr University in Bochum . He became a member of the Corps Neoborussia-Berlin zu Bochum . From there he moved to the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and also joined the Corps Transrhenania Munich . After passing the legal traineeship exam in 1989 , he wrote his doctoral thesis with Rolf Grawert in Bochum. In 1990 he was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD and was research assistant at the chair for public law and European law ( Hans D. Jarass ) for two years . There he mainly dealt with constitutional law and environmental law . The donors' association for old corps students awarded him the Klinggräff Medal in 1992 . After he had passed the assessor examination in the same year , he became a lawyer in the law firm Redeker Sellner Dahs , first in their Bonn and then in their Berlin office. The Humboldt University of Berlin appointed him honorary professor . He was a member of several expert commissions convened by the federal government for the further development of urban planning law (including expert commission for the preparation of the EAG Bau 2004) and traffic route construction (innovation forum for planning acceleration) and is a member of the advisory board on administrative procedural law at the Federal Ministry of the Interior.

His work focuses on public construction law and planning law ( air traffic , roads , waterways ), commercial administrative law , emission control law , procurement law and expropriation and compensation law .
